We Got Nets Episode 14 – Brooklyn Nets Look Strong in First Preseason Game 10/5/19

It’s basketball time! After a long but fruitful summer, we are in game form wtih the We Got Nets Brooklyn Nets Podcast.

You can listen to Episode 14 here:

The Nets opened up their preseason with a game against Sasi Franca. It was a dominant and predictable 50 points win against and overmatched squad. But there’s still plenty to takeaway from the game. Adam and Doug break down the game and some things they saw from the Nets side that were encouraging while also seeing some areas of needed improvement.

They discuss Caris LeVert’s performance without Kyrie Irving and Joe Harris on the court. The former will be called on to be the team’s secondary scorer and playmaker when Irving is on the court. LeVert showed plenty of flashes in the offense.

They also discuss Jarrett Allen and DeAndre Jordan’s games as rimrunners in the offense. There’s some redundancy to their games which could be something of an issue come regular season time.

And of course they cover guys like Taurean Prince’s hot shooting, Rodion Kurucs at the four, and Nicolas Claxton’s few moments to shine at the end of the game.

You can also follow along all season to new episodes wherever you listen to podcasts.
